He survived, but they kept him overnight at a hospital. This guy was in in unbelievable shape, even on the water polo team. He actually practiced at the pool with a ladder on the high dive. I went to school with a guy who really thought he could survive the jump. His torso was facing east, and legs west. The worst thing I saw was a guy who jumped, but drifted back into a fence railing on one of the towers. Nothing worse than surviving that fall is being in that cold ocean conscious.
